Do your students think “pi” is a misspelling? Have you had students think that “rise over run” was a PE exercise? Do their faces contort when you show them an equal sign between letters? For many students, math can be a frustrating, confusing, and defeating subject. The presenter will share lessons that have been developed to help students use technology in a way that makes math topics more accessible. Participants will have opportunities to play with technology, explore online resources and discuss their successes and failures at helping students learn through PBL.
