Join Discovery Southeast Naturalists Janalynn Doten-Ferguson and Bess Crandall in experiencing a hands-on, place-based lesson for yourself. This lesson is one we use with 1st graders. We’ll break it down into parts and considerations so that you can think about how you create your own place-based, engaging lessons. We will go out for a walk as part of this experience, so be sure to dress for whatever weather we are having in order to be comfortable for 45 minutes-1 hour outside.
